Due to the current circumstances in relation to Covid-19, I am currently only offering online counselling (by video or telephone) for clients based in Bolton, and both online and limited face to face counselling for clients based in Burnley (please contact me for available appointments). Covid compliance policy is in place, which will be discussed prior to meeting.
Counselling face to face
I offer face to face psychotherapy appointments in person at PH7 Wellbeing Centre in Burnley, which is easily accessible by car and is just a 5-10-minute walk from the bus station. On-site parking is unfortunately not available, but there are plenty of surrounding car parks, including Sainsburys which is free for 3 hours. Street parking is fine after 6pm.
Address: 60 Bank Parade, Churchill House, Burnley, BB11 1TS
Online and Telephone counselling
I provide online counselling via a secure video platform, enabling you to access therapy in a place that feels safe and convenient for you. This could be your home, your office, or even your car, as long as it’s parked safely.
You will need a computer, tablet or smartphone where you can download Zoom or Whatsapp. I encourage the use of headphones or earphones to increase the feeling of privacy and improve sound quality. If using Zoom a link can be sent to an email account. It is important when working this way that you feel comfortable and that this is suitable for the difficulties you are facing.
My current fees are:
I offer some limited concessionary slots to trainee Counsellors and students £35 per session (50 min) upon production of relevant ID.
Payment method: All payments to be made by BACS transfer prior to each appointment in order to secure your booking.
Rescheduling and cancellation terms
I understand that life can sometimes get in the way and appointments may need to be moved or missed, so I try to accommodate clients’ wishes as much as I can, but that is not always possible. You may cancel sessions up to a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment without incurring any fee (payment will be transferred to your next session). Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the session except in the case of serious personal emergencies when they will be considered on a case by case basis. If you would like to reschedule a session, and I am able to accommodate this before the Sunday of the week in question, then I will endeavour to do so, but this may not always be possible. Should I need to cancel our session with less than 24 hours’ notice, no fee will be payable in this circumstance. If I have to cancel a session at short notice (less than 24 hours) I will advise you as soon as possible and your payment will be transferred to your next appointment.
